Privacy Policy

Revision 2026-10-15 (October 15, 2026) · WyatEarp Studios Inc.

Era AI is an iPhone time-travel chat app published by WyatEarp Studios Inc. that lets you converse with AI characters from different historical eras. This policy explains what data we collect, why, who processes it, and the limits of what we can promise.

Features and available privacy controls differ by the app version installed on your device.

01Information we collect

Conversations
We store the messages you send, AI text replies, conversation titles, selected eras, conversation identifiers, and creation timestamps in our server database. Chat history is not stored only on your device.
Feedback
If you rate a reply, we store your thumbs-up or thumbs-down rating, the selected era, the conversation identifier when provided, the rated reply text (up to 4,000 characters), and the time of submission. Feedback is stored separately from conversations.
Identifiers
The mobile app creates a random identifier saved on your device and sends it to our server. We also process your IP address, and, for purchases, a RevenueCat customer identifier. These identifiers are pseudonymous, not anonymous: they are not your name, but they can distinguish a device or customer over time.
Usage counters
We store usage counters linked to a device identifier, customer identifier or IP address, together with the type of request and timestamps. Counters cover short time windows, daily totals and monthly totals, and are used to enforce usage, spending and anti-abuse limits.
Purchases
Apple and RevenueCat process Era AI Pro subscriptions and restore purchases, including legacy Remove Ads purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase records and a customer identifier, which the app sends to our server so we can check your entitlements with RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Server logs
Our server records request identifiers, methods, paths, response status and errors to operate and troubleshoot the service.

02How we use information

We use this information to generate text replies, store conversations, collect feedback about replies, provide purchased features, apply usage and spending limits, prevent abuse, and operate and troubleshoot the app. New image generation is disabled. Please avoid sending confidential or sensitive personal information in chats.

03AI processing

To generate a reply, we send your message and a bounded amount of recent conversation history, together with instructions for the selected era, to OpenAI through Replit's AI integration. Earlier versions also supported image generation; new image generation is disabled.

Provider handling of data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. This policy does not promise a particular provider retention period or any training restriction.

AI sharing permissionIn app versions that include AI-sharing permission controls, we ask for your explicit permission before sending chats for AI processing. You can withdraw that permission from the home screen. Withdrawal stops future AI sends from that device unless you grant permission again. It does not erase information already stored or sent to providers, and it does not change your separate advertising choices.

04Advertising

iOS versions that include Google AdMob

These versions request interstitial ads through Google's Mobile Ads SDK. Under Google's policies and your consent choices, the SDK may process device and advertising identifiers, IP address and approximate location, crash and performance diagnostics, and ad impressions and interactions. We do not send chat messages to AdMob.

  • We request non-personalized ads. Non-personalized does not mean no data is processed.
  • Where applicable, consent is gathered through Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are requested.
  • You can revisit available choices with "Ad privacy choices" on the home screen. Apple's tracking permission is optional.
  • Era AI Pro subscribers and legacy Remove Ads purchasers are not shown ads.

Older versions with promotional breaks

Older versions showed in-app promotional screens between conversations instead of third-party ads. Those promotional screens were not delivered by an advertising SDK. Whether your installed version uses promotional breaks or AdMob depends on the version on your device.

We do not sell chat messages or share them for third-party advertising. Learn how Google uses information in Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

05Information kept on your device

The app stores its random device identifier, progression and chat-start counts locally. App versions with AI-sharing permission controls save the version of your permission choice on your device so the app can remember it. It also keeps timestamps of attempts to request an App Store review so it can limit how often it asks. Those timestamps are not sent to our server and do not tell us whether Apple displayed a prompt or whether you left a rating. Apple handles any rating or review you choose to submit.

06Third-party services

Each provider processes data under its own policy:

07Storage, retention and deletion

Conversations, messages and feedback are stored on our servers. We do not set a fixed automatic deletion period for chats or feedback.

  • Best-effort cleanup removes general usage counters last updated more than 2 days ago.
  • Spending and message-limit counters used by our chat safeguards are cleaned up on a best-effort basis when last updated more than 90 days ago.
  • These cleanup jobs are not guaranteed deletion deadlines.

Where a conversation-delete control is available, it deletes that conversation and its messages from the active database. Feedback is stored separately and is not removed by deleting a conversation.

Uninstalling the app or clearing local app data does not delete server-side chats, feedback, usage records or records held by service providers, and does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings.

Contact us through our support page with privacy or deletion questions. We cannot promise that every record can be identified or deleted, that contacting support automatically deletes data, or how long providers retain data.

08Children

Era AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
